About Ta Nang – Phan Dung trekking route

It is a hard trekking route. The trek through the jungle is over 55 km, with basic survival skills, physical strength, a backpack and essential items (tents, sleeping bags, food and the most important thing: water). The total weight is about 15kg.

Ta Nang – Phan Dung trekking route is very popular, so the number of people involved in trekking increasingly crowded, with the starting point is the house of paper flowers where you gather all things and wash vegetables to prepare for the night camping. Of course, the house owner is very gentle but you still have to ask permission before doing anything. Starting from the wide streets, passing through the buffalo and cow stalls on vacant land to small roads.

After wading through dozens of large and small streams, the first challenging point is the high slopes in succession, surrounded by pine trees and purple pitchers growing under the pines. You have to climb three high continuous slopes with 15kg on the back, take a short break then zoom out to see a further number of slopes far to your position. The target of the first day has still a dozen more hills.

On that day our team climbed fast, midday arrived at lunch break, opposite is the hill of 3 provinces – the contiguous of 3 provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan. After lunch and rest, moving to the top of the hill 3 provinces, the wind was strong but I keep on looking at the mountains all around, no place can be more beautiful than this place.
My delegation continued, there was sudden rain so the team decided to wear raincoat and go on, 6 people in the group helped each other through the smooth and marsh roads. Actually with 15kg on the shoulder, almost all the trip we plugged to the ground, and everything was getting harder.
By 3pm, the delegation reached the hill of two pine trees, also the destination for the first day. We pitched the tent, prepare the kitchen for baking and rested after a long trip. The hill is higher than the other hills, so camping here would cover the surroundings.

On the night of the camp, after exchanging with other delegations, we sang and slept in the tent to prepare for the next day to Phan Dung. The road to Phan Dung is shorter but more exhausted due to the climate in Phan Dung forest is no longer as cool as Ta Nang, the air is drier and easier to feel tired.

7h in the next morning, after cleaning up and collecting garbage, we started to go to Phan Dung, mainly the trail, no longer steep as in Ta Nang. The plants there are also different because the cogon grass forests were in succession. At 12 noon out of the forest Phan Dung, my delegation had lunch, rested and waited for the bus back to the city, really completed the trekking route of Ta Nang – Phan Dung, feeling beyond myself and breaking the world my inheritance.
